In its quest to better serve an increasingly global customer base, LPI, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of our new office located in Sydney, Australia. New South Wales native and University of Sydney graduate David Baxter, CPEng returns to manage the new office.
David has thirteen years of experience as a structural engineer and management consultant supporting transportation and industrial infrastructure projects. For the past three years, he was based out of LPI, Inc.’s New York office, most recently completing an assignment at the site of the new World Trade Center.
In his announcement, LPI, Inc. CEO Dr. Robert Vecchio, PE stated, “Having a location in Australia, nearer to markets in Asia will enable LPI, Inc. to support our global clients with activities in mining and shipping. Sydney has active building and transportation markets, making it an ideal choice for a base.”
The Sydney office will offer the complete suite of LPI, Inc.’s services in support of infrastructure and the built environment—advanced analytics, failure and materials analysis, aging management and fitness for service, and non-destructive engineering.
