Dave completed a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Sydney, Australia in 1999 and worked in Australia becoming a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia before moving across to New York City in 2007 for a position with global engineering firm AECOM as a Senior Engineer in the Tunneling and Underground division. While at AECOM David worked on proposals for small and mega projects across the United States. He has spent the last 2 years working on the design and construction support team for the Port Authority Transportation Hub structures at the World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan. During his time in Australia David held a commercial position in the structural testing and research laboratory with the University of Sydney, gained experience on the project team for construction of a power cable tunnel under the city of Sydney and with one of Australia's largest construction rental equipment companies developed a temporary falsework/formwork system going on to provide technical design support for the product in application. Experience and expertise in structural steel and concrete design, drafting and analysis for tunnels and underground structures, design and development of structural steel products for temporary applications and construction support services.
